Working weekend w/o internet access
At last the Internet is working. It stopped working Friday evening and has only started working in the past hour or so. I don't know how I lived the weekend without it! Although I suppose it was a good thing because we had tons of work (that we still haven't finished) for translation studies class. Oh the fun we've had!
We've had to read a text by Alonso de Mardrigal (don't faint from the excitement!) aka el Tostado (who we now refer to as "The Toasted") about literal translation, so we can answer 3 questions. Holly, Gemma and myself spent the whole weekend on it...well practically the whole weekend, minus the time it took us to watch 3 or 4 films (Bring it on, Head over Heels, Chasing Liberty and Texas Rangers) I'm quite impressed at how much work we actually did! It really helped all of us working together as a group, otherwise we never would have got through the 8 pages of spanish on translation!
Not much else exciting thats worth mentioning. Apart from that I'm going home on Wednesday! I can't wait!
I really ought to stop boring everyone and procrastinating and do some more work. Isn't my life exciting?
Will update again soon, perhaps with an account of the study group and some of the giggles we had!
